Abstract The Bank of North Carlina, operating 1859-1874, succeeded the Bank of the State of North Carolina which liquidated in 1860, taking over its personnel, buildings, and activities. The collection contains records, 1852-1870, of the Bank of North Carolina, Windsor Branch, including individuals' accounts, notes, cash, and capital stock and handwritten copies of letters by Lorenzo S. Webb, cashier of the branch, about bank business.
