Abstract Dogwood Festival, Incorporated, of Chapel Hill, N.C., was established to promote the preservation and culture of native dogwood trees through annual festivals. The collection includes minutes of directors' meetings, administrative correspondence, reports, financial statements, programs, and other materials relating to the annual Dogwood festivals. These festivals included folk music, dancing, arts, crafts, and drama.

Dogwood Festival, Incorporated, of Chapel Hill, N.C., was established to promote the preservation and culture of native dogwood trees through annual festivals that included folk music, dancing, arts and crafts, drama, and other activities. The business was conducted by a president, vice-president, secretary-treasurer, and a five-member Board of Directors. The officers and directors included Russell Grumman, Felix A. Grisette, Mrs. Paul Green, Phillips Russell, Joseph Hyde Pratt, and other Chapel Hill citizens.
