Drennan of the 25th Massachusetts Infantry, United States Army, around New Bern and at Washington, N.C. Also included is the roll of Company C, 10th [Massachusetts] Regiment. Diary entries detail military assigments, movements, and engagements at Kinston, Whitehall, Goldsboro, Plymouth, and other North Carolina locations. One diary volume, 1862, contains Drennan's mess accounts itemizing cost of food and accounts with various individuals.
