Abstract E. Walker Duvall (born circa 1876) of Cheraw, Chesterfield County, S.C., was a hardware merchant and state legislator, 1908-1909. The collection includes typed reminiscences, written circa 1946, at age 70, by Duvall. His memories are of personal experiences, family events, and life in his town, beginning in the late 1870s. Some earlier family lore is also included.
