Processing Information

Full processing of this collection has been deferred pending future additions. Isabel Eaton is gathering related materials from within the collection and elsewhere and arranging them in a scheme that she has devised (see "Guide to Charles Edward Eaton Archive," the most current version of which is included in this inventory). The newly organized materials begin with box 23. Material not yet reorganized remains in boxes 1-22a. The unprocessed material includes chronological material on Eaton's life since 1960, some literary and other correspondence, materials relating to his short stories and critical biography, magazine publications, and miscellaneous items.
