Abstract William P. Graham (died circa 1844) was a physician and planter of Clarke County and Newton County, Ga. The collection consists mainly of orders and accounts with wholesale druggists, cotton buyers, and general merchants; business correspondence with creditors and debtors; accounts with patients; and miscellaneous financial and legal documents. Also included are family letters from Cahaba, Ala., and St. Mary Parish, La.; correspondence about medical questions; correspondence about selecting a school for Graham's daughter Margaret; letters written by Margaret Graham at Georgia Female College at Macon, Ga., 1842-1843; and business ledgers for medical services and blacksmithing, 1827-1841.
