Volume 4: 1680-1747, 200 pp. Prosecution book covering in chronological order the government's efforts to control the press compiled primarily from the Publics Records Office. The volume is indexed is by proper names and periodicals. Included are 1,300 entries relating to investigations, examinations, court actions and sentences. Also included is some Elizabeth Carmichael material.
