Edgar Wallace Knight (1885-1953) was a University of North Carolina professor and authority on educational history and administration.

The collection includes materials gathered by Forrest L. Rollins for his dissertation on Edgar Wallace Knight. The collection includes scrapbooks and clippings related to all of Knight's career, but particularly the early years, 1917-1926; Knight's memorandum book while a member of an educational inquiry commission in Iraq, 1932; incomplete manuscripts of two of his books; and photocopies of papers and clippings relating to Knight.
