Abstract St. Timothy's was a mission church, 1898-1950s, in New Salem Township, Union County, N.C., of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Monroe, N.C. The collection consists information about the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina's Mission Church at St. Timothy's, in New Salem Township, Union County, N.C. Included are a 1993 map of Union County; pages relating to St. Timothy's from "The History of St. Paul's Episcopal Church" by Virginia Heath (1974); the Diocese of North Carolina's 1933 journal entries about St. Timothy's; undated notes by the Reverend Frederick B. Drane, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Monroe, on sermon topics for a preaching mission at St. Timothy's; correspondence of Drane, 1932-1956; and a booklet of photographs and other miscellaneous photographs taken by Drane. Some of the materials are photocopies.
