Abstract Thomas Clarence Stone represented Rockingham County in the North Carolina House of Representatives, 1935-1947, and Rockingham and Caswell counties in the North Carolina Senate, 1955, 1961, and 1963, and served as president of the Senate in 1963. The collection includes the legislative files of Stone, 1943-1965, consisting of correspondence with constituents, speeches, bills, budgets, reports, and other materials.
