Abstract Edward Victor Zoeller was a manufacturer and pharmacist of Tarboro, N.C., and secretary-treasurer of Farmers' Oil Mills of Tarboro. The collection contains the business papers of Zoeller, consisting chiefly of correspondence and a production record, all related to the Farmers' Oil Mills, manufacturer of cottonseed oil products in Tarboro, N.C., 1891-1912. Other correspondence pertains to Zoeller's drug business, state and national pharmacists' organization, and the origins of pharmacy education at the University of North Carolina. Correspondents include Franklin Wills Hancock of Oxford, N.C.; William Simpson; and Francis Preston Venable at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, N.C.
