Location and Driving Directions
If you are driving to UNC-Chapel Hill...
From Interstate 40 (coming from Raleigh and points east)
Take exit 273-B (Hwy 54) towards Chapel Hill
From Interstate 85 (coming from Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Greensboro):
Take I-40 East towards Raleigh
From Interstate 85 North (coming from Durham and points north):
I-85 to intersection with Hwy 15-501 South
Metered spaces are also available along South Street.
From the Rams Head Parking Deck, walk back down Stadium Drive to South Road. The Wilson Library is located directly across from the Bell Tower. To enter the building walk around from the South Street side to the front entrance. Once you enter the building go through the foyer and turn right to go to the Research Library and left to go to the Gallery.
Prospective visitors to the North Carolina Collection should be aware of enforced parking regulations on the University of North Carolina campus. The Department of Transportation & Parking (919-962-3951) provides up-to-date information on parking.

Parking and Building Access
Disability access is from the side (east) entrance of the Wilson Library. Marked Disability parking spaces are behind the library directly across from Stadium Drive, accessible from the South Road entrance.
Once inside the building, elevator access is available past the stairwell in the elevator lobby on the east side of the building. The elevator allows access to all four main floors of the Wilson Library.
