The Park Library has a selection of North Carolina newspapers in print format. The daily papers are usually kept for one to two weeks and then recycled. The non-daily newspapers are usually kept for three to four weeks. Articles from these papers may be photocopied, but not clipped. Please note that the Park Library photocopier does not accept money, only UNC One Cards will work. The Park Library does not have microfilm of North Carolina newspapers; you can locate these resources at the North Carolina Collection in Wilson Library on the UNC-CH campus. Not all North Carolina newspapers are microfilmed; searching for older issues may present a challenge. The Park Library does not subscribe to international newspapers. For aid in researching newspapers from other countries, please consult the Newspapers Research Guide.
