The Blue Ridge Parkway Experience instructional module was developed by graduate assistant Katy Vance in consultation with Kim Vassiliadis and Amanda Foster of the UNC University Libraries, Cheryl Mason Bolick of the UNC School of Education, and Dr. Anne Whisnant, scholarly advisor for the Driving Through Time project. The module was made possible by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) awarded to the University Library's Documenting the American South digital library for the "Driving Through Time: The Digital Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina" project. Natasha Smith, Principal Investigator, and Elise Warshavsky (2009-2010) and Molly Sorice (2010-2011), Project Managers, also provided valuable support.

Digital materials (maps, photos, postcards, letters, newspaper articles,) included in this module were created from original documents at the Blue Ridge Parkway Archives, National Park Service, North Carolina Collection, North Carolina State Archives, and North Carolina State University.
